Hello, I work for Rockwood School District in Wildwood, Missouri. I am a staff member for Pond Elementary School Adventure Club program. We have encouraged our students to walk to learn a lifelong healthy physical fitness skill and this year our group selected Ullapool,Scotland as our destination. Our goal was to walk the equivilent of the miles to walk to Ullapool for the school year. Our group has walked 5384 miles so far. Our expectations have been exceeded so greatly, that we have hosting a family party to celebrate and were hoping to arrange a bagpiper so the students can experience real Scottish music. Our budget is limited, so we were hoping for a volunteer. Our event is scheuled for April 9th between 5 and 7 P.M. If there is anybody available from your group, could you please let me know. If you have nobody available, could you let me know if there is anybody else you would suggest? Thank you for your help, Marji Sellge Assistant Facilitator Pond Elementary School 17200 Manchester Road Grover, MO 63040 636-458-7264 ext.121
Just wanted to say hi. Web site looks good.
Thank You
This is just great and reflects how rich of history the fire service and firefighters are.
As we just wrapped up the memorial, playing together in Colorado, we are saddend to hear of the loss of one of your pipe band members. Please execpt or condolences from Orange County Califorina. Your band is in our thoughts and prayers.
We just started a Chicago FD Pipes & Drums and I was looking around at other FD pipe band sights. I liked this one alot.
I recently retired from DoD Civil Service & Military. I have had a dream of playing the Pipes ever since I heard them the first time, I just ordered my chanter from Kilberry in UK. On Tues, 24 July I read the article in the Post-Dispatch about the org. I am submitting an application, I will fund all my own equipment. I also volunteer at Jefferson Barracks VA Hospital and I want to volunteer for burials also. So please look over my application and give me a shot at becoming one of you!

I just wanted to say Thank You for participating in remembering Steve Fierro in February. This has been a trying time for all in the Department and his faimily and friends. I was visiting sites and found this one and just wanted to let you know we appreciate all you did. Dana Carver, Secretary, Carthage Fire Department
St. Louis Honor Guard, I just surfed in and found your website. Simply excellent! Having come up through the ranks as a Color Guard/Drill Team member in JROTC and later in the Army, I found the Fire Ax bearers EXTREMELY professional. What finer example for a Fire Department Color Guard! And the dress, drill and deportment of the Pipes and Drums, phenominal. Keep up the good work! Yours Aye, Mick Stewart, Drum-Major Signal Regiment Veterans (Memorial) Pipe Band

Your website is a great inspiration to what we are planning to start!
I'm happy to know that the St. Louis area has a Highland Guard unit. As you know, I have requested that you play at my husband's Memorial Service 03 April 2004. I hope this will be possible. Thank you, Joann Lucas Conrad (Mrs. Marshall)
